Environ Facials

Environ® skin-care products have been formulated to combat and relieve the harmful effects of the harsh climatic changes of today’s environment, specifically pollution and ever-increasing does of radiation from the sun due to the thinning of the protective ozone layer. Added to these are the modern-day effects of social and work stresses and poor diet.

Every day our skin loses vitamins due to exposure to these elements, which aggravates the visible signs of aging. Dr. Des Fernandes, world-renowned plastic and reconstructive surgeon, pioneered the use of vitamin A in high effective doses and antioxidants over a decade ago, establishing Environ as a leader in skin care. Dr Fernandes became interested in the mechanics of skin cancer and the skin following the untimely deaths of two young patients due to melanoma. Through his research, he discovered the essential role of vitamin A in skin health, and he became determined to create treatments that would maintain healthy skin.

Environ skin-care products are intended for use on all skin types, on people of all ages, and for all genders. The products are manufactured only from the highest quality ingredients and fresh, active vitamins. They are hypo-allergenic and colorant free. Preservatives and fragrance are only used when necessary. Kripalu is pleased to introduce two leading results-orientated facials using Environ products.


Vitamin C Facial

A complete facial to restore radiance and add moisture. Vitamins A and C are infused into the skin to improve hydration, form new collagen, and regenerate new healthy skin cells. This facial includes a custom mask along with a relaxing face massage. Skin will be renewed, healthy, hydrated, and glowing. 60 minutes $105

Age Management

We begin with an application of a lactic-acid mask that is gentle enough for all skin types, yet offers targeted treatment for fine lines or dryness. Then vitamins A and C are infused into the skin using a hydrating alginate mask. This is a results-orientated complete facial targeted for working on fine lines and the prevention of aging skin. Skin will be firmer, renewed, and hydrated. 60 minutes $105


Dr. Hauschka Facials

Classic Facial Treatment

This is far more than a facial. The Dr. Hauschka Classic Facial Treatment refreshes and rejuvenates the whole body, leaving you feeling serene, centered, and positively radiant. A certified Dr. Hauschka esthetician applies techniques of rhythmic touch, lymph stimulation, aromatherapy, and gentle exfoliation, all with the help of Dr. Hauschka’s pure botanical preparations. This luxurious two-hour treatment is like hitting the ‘reset’ button on your life: you’ll look and feel younger and more energetic. 120 minutes $175

Cleansing Facial Treatment

This 60-minute variation of the Classic Treatment focuses on stimulating circulation and awakening the inherent healing forces of the skin. Gentle exfoliation and lymph stimulation leave skin feeling fresh, clean, and renewed. 60 minutes $105

Firming Facial

This treatment will leave your skin feeling smoother, firmer, and rejuvenated. The Firming Facial Treatment includes revitalizing lymph stimulation, a special neck treatment, and a firming mask to support regeneration. 60 minutes $105

To schedule Healing Arts services:

While at Kripalu Center, you may schedule a service at the Healing Arts Desk, located on the first floor and open from 8:00 am–7:30 pm daily. Kripalu bodywork appointments are available Monday thru Friday 11:00 am–9:00 pm and 9:00 am–9:00 pm Saturday and Sunday. Kripalu one-on-one consultations are available Monday thru Saturday 9:00 am–6:00 pm. We recommend you schedule your Healing Arts services one to two weeks in advance of your stay to ensure availability. From outside Kripalu call: 888-738-1822, Monday–Friday, 9:00 am–7:00 pm (EST) and Saturday and Sunday, 9:00 am–5:00 pm (EST).

Fees and Scheduling

Gratuities are not included in the price of your service and are greatly appreciated by our dedicated therapists.

Cancellation Policy You may cancel or change your appointment time up to 24 hours in advance of your treatment. For changes or cancellations less than 24 hours in advance, you will be charged a 50% forfeiture fee. If you fail to show up for your treatment, the full charge will apply. Please note Treatment time is not extended for late arrivals; this includes late arrivals due to program presenters running over their scheduled time. If you arrive more than 30 minutes after your scheduled time, your appointment is automatically cancelled and the full charge is applied.

The Healing Arts Department at Kripalu Center for Yoga & Health supports health and healing through massage, skin- and body-care, Ayurvedic treatments, lifestyle consultations, and more. Appointments are available for guests taking a program at Kripalu as well as for visitors (who may want to consider a Kripalu Day Pass).
