Gabrielle Roth

Gabrielle Roth, world-renowned theater director, movement innovator, and recording artist, is the best-selling author of Maps to Ecstasy, Sweat Your Prayers, and Connections. Her award-winning recordings are on the cutting edge of shamanic, trance dance music. The Moving Center, her international institute, oversees the teaching of her work through schools in New York, California, and Europe and has certified over 250 teachers worldwide. Gabrielle’s home base is Manhattan, where she teaches experimental and traditional acting. She most recently directed Savage Love, by Sam Shepard and Joseph Chaikin at The Culture Project in Manhattan.
