Jack Kornfield
Jack Kornfield, PhD, holds a PhD in clinical psychology; has trained as a Buddhist monk in the monasteries of Thailand, India, and Burma; and is one of the key teachers to introduce mindfulness to the West. A founding teacher of the Insight Meditation Society in Barre, Massachusetts, and Spirit Rock Center in Woodacre, California, he has taught meditation internationally since 1974. His 16 books include A Path with Heart; A Lamp in the Darkness; After the Ecstasy, the Laundry; and The Wise Heart: A Guide to the Universal Teachings of Buddhist Psychology.
