Monique Schubert

Monique Schubert, RYT, is a trained visual artist, certified Kripalu Yoga teacher, and an eclectic educator. She lives and works in Brooklyn, New York, where she teaches yoga, mindfulness practice, and visual arts in settings as diverse as the Fashion Institute of Technology, juvenile detention centers in Brooklyn and the South Bronx, outdoors at Socrates Sculpture Park, and at the Studio Museum in Harlem. Monique also teaches yoga and visual art to children in the New York City public schools. Her goal is to create opportunities for people to share the experience of community and contemplation through yoga and art.
