Alex Grey

Alex Grey is a visionary artist best known for depictions of the human body that “X-ray” multiple layers of reality, revealing the complex integration of body, mind, and spirit. His visual meditations on the nature of consciousness led to exhibitions and keynote addresses from Tokyo to São Paulo; features on Discovery Channel, Newsweek, and Time; and album art for Grammy Award-winning bands Tool, Beastie Boys, Nirvana, and SCI. His books include Sacred Mirrors: The Visionary Art of Alex Grey, and a philosophical text called The Mission of Art. His newest book, Art Psalms, will be released later this year. www.alexgrey.com
