Andrea Sherman

Andrea Sherman, PhD, is a gerontologist, choreographer, ritualist, and president of Transitional Keys, a nonprofit organization she cofounded. A teacher for more than 25 years, she taught at New York University and is on the Leadership Council of the American Society on Aging. She holds a doctorate in dance and gerontology and is a fellow of the New York Academy of Medicine and the Gerontological Society of America. She has led rituals that span the life cycle from birth to dying and is author of the Transitional Keys Guidebook. www.transitionalkeys.org
