Marc Mandel

Marc Mandel is in charge of the Boston Symphony Orchestra’s program book and its pre-concert talks at Symphony Hall and Tanglewood. He has been on the staff of the BSO since 1978. In addition to his work for the Boston Symphony, he has written notes and/or lectured for Carnegie Hall, the San Francisco Symphony, Deutsche Grammophon, Nonesuch Records, the Handel & Haydn Society, the Cantata Singers of Boston, the BBC Proms, and the Clark Museum in Williamstown, Massachusetts.
