Lois Bass

Lois Bass, a licensed clinical social worker and somatic experiencing practitioner, has extensive experience working with trauma using somatic-based therapy. She has been part of the Trauma Resource Institute teaching staff since its inception, and worked with them in New Orleans and Baton Rouge following Hurricanes Rita and Katrina. A faculty member at the Smith College School for Social Work, she also has a private practice in Amherst, Massachusetts, and New York City.
