Dance Monks is an internationally traveled company that thrives on the creation and performance of experimental dance art, delving into the intimate and ancient relationship between people and nature. Mirah Kellc Moriarty and Rodrigo Esteva are the founding directors of Dance Monks, which they created in 2000. They have dedicated their professional lives to dance as an art form for more than 15 years, performing internationally in some of the most prestigious festivals and theaters of the United States and abroad including: Dancers’ Group Summer Dance Festival (San Francisco), Teatro de la Danza (Theater of Dance-Mexico City), Universidad Nacional de Mexico (The National University of Mexico), and Middlebury College in Vermont, among others. www.dancemonks.com
