John Bianculli

John Bianculli is a lyrical and soulful pianist and composer. His dynamic music is a unique blend of jazz, Latin, Brazilian, rhythm and blues, and world music, and can be heard on Telarc and Dream Box records. His song “Bittersweet” made the Contemporary Jazz Charts top-ten list. As pianist for international jazz recording artist Steve Nelson for more than five years, and Jeanie Bryson for a decade, John has also worked with Cassandra Wilson, Terence Blanchard, Regina Belle, Charlie Rouse, Bobby Watson, James Spaulding, Jimmy Ponder, Bill Hardman, and Earl May. A self taught, accomplished, and versatile musician, John got much of his training playing the jazz circuit from New York to Washington DC. John and his wife Bobbie Ellis are on a creative quest to enliven yoga and meditation practices with music and the creativity of each moment unfolding. www.johnbiancullimusic.com
