Abby Seixas invites women from all helping professions and those with prior experience teaching or leading groups to her training in facilitating Deep River groups and incorporating the Deep River process into work with other groups. A well-facilitated circle of support can fuel personal growth and help participants gain strength to separate themselves from society’s steady drumbeat to make conscious choices about their pace and priorities.
This training includes
- Guidelines to create safety and encourage depth
- Ways to introduce and work with the six core practices
- What is meant by the term “group field” and how to work with and within it
- Tips for working with difficult group members
- Tools to balance structure and spontaneity as a facilitator.
- 8.5 credits for Social Workers (SW), $20 additional charge
