Learn to live a life of sweetness, without the added sugar.

The love affair many Americans have with sugar is filled with more highs and lows than a soap opera. But this is no daytime drama: Sugar affects hunger, body weight, and the risk for chronic diseases.

Just in time for the holidays, this program offers rich tools to help you face temptations and uncover the true roots of your cravings. Guided by a caring team of experts, you learn the latest nutritional science, mindful-eating exercises, and stress-reduction practices. By experiencing your own nourishing combination of movement, meditation, and a satisfying whole-foods diet, you cultivate health, connection, and vitality—life’s natural sweeteners—without the rush of sugar.

Topics include

  • The biology of hunger and satiety
  • Food and mood
  • The truth about carbs
  • Sugar and gut health
  • Getting your sweetness from life.

For those with diabetes and prediabetes, Lisa B. Nelson, Medical Education Director for Kripalu Healthy Living programs, will lead special breakout sessions addressing these conditions.

Recommendations (additional fees apply):

  • Add on a private Nutritional Consultation
  • Add on a Life Coaching session to help you develop a realistic plan for when you return home
  • Pamper yourself with a Kripalu Meditative Massage or Dr. Hauschka Facial

Please reserve early as appointments are limited. Find out more about these sessions on Kripalu’s Healing Arts pages or call 888.738.1822 to make an appointment.
