For all levels, from beginning to experienced meditators.

While our emotions often delight and invigorate us, when we examine them closely, they can be fleeting and unreliable. On a subtle level, emotions often obscure the abiding, peaceful awareness that lies at the very heart of each of us. During this retreat with meditation teacher Tim Olmsted, you discover how to use the energy and richness of your emotional life as the foundation for the journey to awakening. You learn to bring emotions to the entire arc of the path as the basis for inner peace and equanimity, as a source of radiant compassion, and finally, as brilliant wisdom.

This workshop includes video teachings by Yongey Mingyur Rinpoche and presentations by Tim on how to bring emotions onto the path of awakening, as well as guided meditations and discussion. Yongey Mingyur Rinpoche is known for his ability to present the ancient wisdom of Tibet in a fresh, engaging manner.

Note Participants who are new to meditation are requested to watch a four-part video series, Introduction to Meditation by Mingyur Rinpoche, prior to the weekend. learning.tergar.org
