Program Details

For kids and preteens ages 5–14.

Move, play, and have fun! Drum in a circle, dance to the rhythm, and make art. Bring your favorite CD and a musical instrument if you have one.

During the Tribal Jam kids’ program, you

  • Learn hand-drumming techniques and African rhythms
  • Create music, dance, and artwork simultaneously
  • Make improvisational music, theatre, and dance
  • Practice yoga
  • Put on a show for parents and families
  • Have the best time ever as we create community through our own special tribe.

Drumming, dancing, and music-making are opportunities for kids to fully express themselves in body, mind, and spirit. That means happiness for all!

Note All children must be accompanied by an adult registered at Kripalu Center.
