Program Details

For women; all ages and levels of fitness welcome.

Qigong has been a source for women’s health and longevity for thousands of years. The slow, gentle movements provide numerous health benefits and help you age gracefully and maintain youthful vitality. In only 15 minutes a day, a qigong practice can balance hormones, eliminate symptoms of menopause, reduce stress, improve digestion and sleep, and increase your energy and overall well-being.

In this workshop, you learn a form of qigong designed specifically for women to move stagnant energies in the body, soothe the emotions, build bones, and nurture the reproductive system. This program includes healing circles and outdoor practice on the beautiful Kripalu grounds, so you can learn how to nourish your qi with the elements of nature.

Recommended reading and viewing Deborah Davis, Women's Qigong for Health and Longevity and Wise Woman Qigong (DVD).
