How we take yoga out into the world and into our classes, and the variety of what we have to offer, can determine how successful we are as teachers.
In this module, you discover how to offer posture modifications for diverse populations to create a safe, therapeutic environment in both group classes and in one-on-one sessions. You also learn the key principles of Ayurveda, yoga’s sister science, and how they support yoga instruction customized for the individual, as well as for you as the teacher.
This module includes
- Advanced skills for working with private clients
- The anatomy of the circulatory and lymphatic systems
- An introduction to the basic principles of teaching to special populations, including restorative yoga, prenatal yoga, elder yoga, yoga for chronic conditions, and yoga for bone and back conditions.
