RISE For Corporations

We Bring RISE to Where It’s Needed Most

Stress is the greatest challenge for high-stakes organizations, and it manifests in a multitude of ways. Kripalu’s evidence-based resilience program, RISE™, is anchored in the science of mindfulness, yoga, and positive psychology.

Here’s what we know

  • Stress is the underlying cause of 60% of all human illness and disease
  • 80% of workers feel stress on the job, and nearly half say they need help in learning how to manage stress
  • 29% of workers have yelled at coworkers because of stress
  • 12% of workers have called in sick because of job stress.*

That’s where RISE comes in. With the right tools, stress can be transformed into an engine of innovation, engagement, and performance.

RISE is Evidence-Based

“The RISE program provides a user-friendly approach to mindfulness and stress resilience training. RISE illustrates how to embody self-care in order to center yourself, your staff, and therefore your organization.” —Gwendolyn VanSant, Director, Multicultural BRIDGE

RISE is an evidence-based leadership-development program anchored in the science of mindfulness, yoga, and Positive Psychology. Developed by Kripalu Center for Yoga & Health in partnership with corporate leaders, RISE brings together more than a decade of research in mindfulness, resilience, brain science, and human behavior.

RISE is specifically designed to support

  • Greater clarity and resilience
  • Improved social emotional intelligence
  • Better decision making through increased focus
  • Enhanced burnout rates
  • Renewed sense of purpose and empowerment
  • Connected, compassionate care of clients and patients.

The trainings have been rigorously evaluated by scientists, including our research partners at Brigham and Women’s Hospital. Individuals in high-stress organizations who experience the RISE program report profound results—increases in resilience, mindfulness, engagement, and positivity. Our research outcomes have been widely published in peer-reviewed journals, such as the Journal of Workplace Behavioral Wellness. For more research on the benefits of RISE view our RISE Resources & Research page.
