Ageless Soul Creatively Navigate Life’s Passages, Enjoy Growing Older, and Be Uniquely You

Life is a series of passages, each one an opportunity to live fully and enjoy being yourself. Many of us worry about getting sick, having memory problems, or becoming dependent in later years, but as you age, your heart expands and your spirituality deepens. Your knowledge, wisdom, and life experience can contribute to a world that needs you.

Join Thomas Moore in a program designed for everyone at any stage of life to

  • Reimagine aging in a fresh, positive light
  • Explore your own issues about getting older
  • Discover new ways of being spiritual
  • Creatively deal with retirement, sickness, and emotions such as fear, anger, loneliness, and loss
  • See the role of humor and storytelling throughout life’s phases.

This weekend includes discussion, dream work, break-out groups, and brief “soul-meditations.” As a former monk who holds a PhD in religious studies, Thomas offers a deeply spiritual outlook on aging. He draws on 40 years as a psychotherapist to address intimate and difficult aspects of growing older, looking at the mythic and universally human experience of aging. As a 77-year-old man, Thomas speaks from experience about the challenges involved in becoming a unique person and choosing to live each moment with wonder, imagination, and depth.

Note Tuition includes a paperback copy of Thomas Moore’s book Ageless Soul.

The Alchemy of Time: Aging is Becoming Who You Are
Thomas Moore and Angela Farmer
The secret to aging well is the understanding that all stages of your life exist in every moment. You are neither old nor young; you are everything, every moment compressed into the passing present. You are richer than you can imagine, more timeless than you can understand.

Join beloved Kripalu presenters Thomas Moore, author of Aging with Soul, and Angela Farmer, revered elder yogini and humanitarian, for a stimulating discussion on the alchemy of aging. Both bring rich perspectives and wisdom to the journey of “becoming who you are.”

This evening event is free for in-house guests; no general-public tickets available.
