Artemis, Women’s Circles, and the Sacred Feminine A Women’s Retreat

In Jean Shinoda Bolen’s storytelling, myths come to life and themes resonate with our own lives. Such is the story of Artemis: The Indomitable Spirit in Everywoman. In this title of Jean’s book, indomitable means untamed and unsubdued. It’s the quality in girls and women that refuses to be a victim, no matter what. Artemis, the goddess of the hunt and the moon, is the archetype of the sister and feminist, the Girl Scout and the child, who turned to Mother Nature and animals for strength and solace.

The ability to aim for a target and hit it is a gift of focus that leads to achieving goals. Moonlight vision sees oneness and supports mystical spirituality and spiritual activism. Archetypal connections are with Hecate and Hestia. This program includes guided meditation, inner reflection, and participation in a circle with a sacred center.
