In every interaction, we have the capacity to act as medicine, a neutral force, or a poison to ourselves and others. According to ancient Ayurvedic texts, there are four qualities that physicians must cultivate in order to provide effective treatments: excellence in theoretical knowledge, lots of practice, purity, and dexterity.

In this program, we

  • Explore how to develop these four qualities for application in daily life
  • Nourish our potential to be medicine for others
  • Learn to support healing that goes beyond diet, supplements, and exercise

The effectiveness of a physician extends far beyond an ability to prescribe correct treatments, and these four qualities can be nurtured—whether or not we are healthcare practitioners—as a way to contribute to the wonder, mystery, and innate goodness in all, especially in these stressful times.
