Bone Camp Advanced Yoga and Yoga-Inspired Movement for Skeletal Health

For yoga, exercise, and medical professionals with at least 6 mos. teaching or therapy experience.

Discover how moving from and for the bones can profoundly change your practice and your teaching. S. A. F. E. (Skeletally Appropriate for Everyone) movement includes hip openers (The Meeks Method way), core strengtheners, and active spinal rotation, all designed to challenge and “surprise” the bones in therapeutic ways.

This professional training covers principles of movement from the inside out, Meeks Yoga Prep™, tips on utilizing gravity for better movement, designing yoga practice along a continuum from least to most spinal compression with personal experience and practice teaching. You also learn osteoporosis facts and myths, safe and contraindicated movements for osteoporosis and osteopenia, and updated information on testing for bone health.
