For aspiring transformational authors.

  • Book industry wisdom

Through instruction, inspiration, and plenty of writing time, Kelly provides a supportive, informative, and inspiring environment in which you

  • Write every day, planting the seed of the habit you need to finish your project
  • Hone your “hook” so that your book is both saleable and magnetic
  • Learn your publishing options and decide whether to start with a proposal or a full-length manuscript
  • Receive support from an expert who has edited books for HarperCollins, Penguin, Hyperion, Sounds True, and Hay House.

Whether you are just starting out or you’ve already got a draft underway, this retreat is the next step toward making your book a reality.

Note Please bring your favorite writing setup (laptop or tablet with charger, paper, and pen) as well as a journal. There will be optional writing sessions outside of the program hours, and all students are encouraged to participate in at least one of these extra writing sessions per day.
