Before COVID-19, stress was already in the job description for healthcare professionals. Today, a pandemic requires these same professionals to face an unprecedented level of stress and anxiety as they work to keep our communities safe amidst a global pandemic.

While the end of COVID-19 may not yet be in sight, the good news is that there are plenty of strategies from within the toolbox of yoga-based mindfulness practice that can help us show up to work in a way that is calm, clear, and connected.

In this six-week program, learn to focus on the things that matter most and how to be less rattled by the waves of the workplace. RISE, Kripalu’s Evidence-Based Stress Resilience training is anchored in the science and practice of mindfulness, yoga, and positive psychology.

Join the hundreds of professionals, educators, and first responders who have participated in this training online and returned to work with reduced stress and the tools necessary to manage burnout, improve personal health, and enhance care.

Through the leadership of Sam Chase, you

  • Unpack workplace and industry stressors and their impact on your personal well-being
  • Examine mindful stress resilience through scientific research and real-world application
  • Explore personal and system-wide barriers to mindful clinical practice and map an approach to reinvigorate your work as it relates to mission and service
  • Learn several mindfulness-based tools to manage stress and enhance service.

Note All recordings will be available within 72 hours of the end of each session. You will have access to the video recording(s) for 30 days after the program ends.

This program—developed and led by our own faculty with the Kripalu methodology in mind—is offered exclusively at Kripalu.
