Cultivating Poise and Confidence in the Present Moment: The Actor’s Secret

For everyone, including performers, therapists, teachers, and anyone interested in movement, breathing, and human behavior.

Have you ever watched an actor on stage and craved a bit of their poise, posture, or vocal presence? You can learn to increase your confidence and expand your capacity to move freely, and express yourself fully by learning a unique approach that combines body-centered tools and helps unpack habits that get in your way. Just walking into a room full of people can be as triggering for one person as walking onto a stage is for another. After all, aren’t we all performers, presenting ourselves? All the world is a stage.

Through hands-on guidance and simple exercises to explore inner sensations, you experience

  • The Alexander Technique for musculoskeletal reeducation
  • Breathing coordination for easy, spacious breathing
  • Somatic Experiencing for nervous system regulation.

Come awaken your inherent potential by finding support from the ground, which can lead to full stature and expansion, while learning to recognize the trauma and overwhelm that can interfere with this process.
