Become fully embodied—and develop and gain autonomy—as you explore your own physiology and how it relates to the way you practice yoga. Your skeleton, musculature, connective tissue, lifestyle, nervous system, and past injuries create a unique set of circumstances that make customizing your asana practice paramount. Alexandria Crow shows you how to tailor poses, movements, and practice techniques to individual bodies as you create wise personalized sequences. Learn how to know when a pose just isn’t meant for you or your students and how to prevent injuries or adapt for existing ones.

This program also focuses on what the yogic texts say asana can teach us and addresses the question: “Are the poses we see in photos wise? Why and why not?”

Using biomechanics, functional range of motion, and custom tailoring, you can create an effective asana practice specially designed to meet your needs as a beautiful, one-of-a-kind individual.
