Experiential Anatomy

For yoga teachers and serious students.

If you have been hesitant about studying anatomy, or long for a course that goes beyond dry academics on anatomical facts, this program is for you. Judith Hanson Lasater and Mary Richards teach anatomy with a specific focus for yoga teachers.

Using your asana practice as a starting point, Judith and Mary guide you through the principles of anatomy and kinesiology, providing proper names and terminology for what you already know and have “felt in your bones” for years. Engaging and empowering,  this program helps you experience anatomy in your body and on the mat, so you return home with vital knowledge to practice with awareness and teach with confidence.

Required reading Judith Hanson Lasater, Yogabody: Anatomy, Kinesiology, and Asana. Please read and study the first two chapters prior to the program. It may also be helpful to purchase the Pocket Anatomy app or join its web-based counterpart, Anatomus.
