Kevan Gale’s approach combines gentle yoga, Tibetan mind training, discourses on Buddhist philosophy, and daily meditation practices to create a grounded and profound experience.

Starting with an overview of the foundational Tibetan Buddhist teachings on the mind, this program explores

  • Four preliminary techniques designed to elicit deep reflection
  • The science of meditation
  • Specific meditation practices, including shamata (calm abiding meditation), metta (loving-kindness practice), and tong-len (exchanging oneself for others)
  • Ways to establish a regular home meditation practice
  • Daily Dharma discourses on understanding the mind, and moving past destructive emotional behavior
  • Yoga nidra (the yoga of relaxation) and gentle yoga movement practices
  • Tools for applying yoga and philosophy to everyday life.
