Forest Bathing and Outdoor Meditations

Fall in the Berkshires, with its dramatic vibrant colors, is the perfect time to connect with the healing atmosphere of the forest. Experience nature’s beauty and the calming effects of shinrin-yoku, or forest bathing—a popular Japanese practice that rebalances the body and senses through the proven stress-reduction benefits of simply walking in the woods.

  • An introduction to Forest Bathing in nearby Bullard Woods, one of the few remaining old-growth forests in New England, and the trails of the Yokun Ridge
