Guided by Breath Retreat into the Heart of Yoga

What becomes possible when your yoga practice is elevated from a mere performance of postures to an ecstatic full-body prayer? Join Kripalu faculty member Sadia Bruce for a deep dive into the very heart of yoga—the breath-body communion that is often alluded to in yoga classes but seldom taught.

Through asana, pranayama, meditation, and other embodied experiences that invite the breath to move through and with the body, you will

  • Be more receptive to your energetic and emotional states
  • Have a deepened, felt understanding of the breath-body connection
  • Become better attuned to the movement of life within the body
  • Experience heightened personal presence
  • Access greater ease and fullness of being.

Return home with the knowledge of how to move as breath rather than merely with breath.

Note This brand-new offering will offer long-form, adaptive yoga practices accessible to all levels. Morning practices will enliven and open, afternoon reflection circles and discussion will expand and illumine. Practices at the week's end will quiet, nourish, and center. A spacious schedule will allow you to receive the medicine of community, recede into the arms of your own presence and integrate your learnings.

This program—developed and led by our own faculty with the Kripalu methodology in mind—is offered exclusively at Kripalu.
