The Happy Heart Is True Celtic Wisdom and Spirituality in Song, Poetry, and Story

For everyone.

Join world renowned Irish theologian and singer Rev. Nóirín Ní Riain and her sons, Owen and Mícheál Moley Ó Súilleabháin, for an experiential dive into Celtic tradition. February marks the Celtic season of Imbolc, the time of new beginnings in nature and within ourselves. Explore themes of Celtic spirituality such as St. Brigid and the Celtic calendar, and enjoy a unique and vibrant illumination of Irish spiritual and traditional song and poetry.

Through their own familial experience and stunning virtuosity in speaking and singing, this family trio issues a joyous and moving invitation to deepen your understanding of Celtic and Irish traditions, both ancient and modern. The themes of new beginnings, letting go, and coming to terms offer much to explore and there is no better place than Kripalu to amplify the new beginning within you.

This program includes opportunities to learn poems and sing songs, but is not exclusive to performers. People of all backgrounds and interests, singers and listeners alike, are welcome.
