Integral Qigong Teacher Training Community Practice Leader Certification

For everyone.

Become a qigong teacher certified by the Institute of Integral Qigong and Tai Chi (IIQTC), one of the most revered training institutes in the Western world. The IIQTC has trained nearly 2,000 practice leaders and teachers, many of them yoga teachers. Roger Jahnke reminds us that yogis in China are practicing qigong—Chinese yoga—which is based in qi management, just as yoga is based in prana management. Both systems are founded upon “The Three Treasures”: body, breath, and mind. Yoga teachers who weave qigong into their classes report that their students love the ease and flow, plus the feeling of the qi sensation.

Learn to bring mind-body practices into community settings such as hospitals, schools, yoga centers, social service agencies, and even military bases, by teaching accessible qigong methods that people can use to maximize or recover their health. With confidence-building practice teaching in small groups, this training explores nine accessible qigong methods:

  • Vitality Enhancement Practice
  • The Nine Phases of Mastery Practice
  • Connective Tissue Transformation
  • Bone Marrow Bathing
  • Seven Precious Gestures
  • Cancer Recovery Walking Practice
  • Spontaneous Practice
  • Numerous Qigong Breath Practices
  • Qi Transmission Healing

This program covers everything from qigong’s ancient philosophical foundations to the similarities and differences between yoga, qigong, and tai chi, and includes physiology and business skills. You return home fully prepared and empowered to teach qigong in your community—based on profound yet simple tai chi principles. This certification connects you to a professional community of nearly 2000 IIQTC colleagues.
