An Introduction to the Feldenkrais Method of Somatic Education for Dynamic Health

For all levels.

Relearn the art of listening to your body. By engaging awareness, imagination, and perception, Feldenkrais Awareness Through Movement can relieve pain, aid in recovery from physical and emotional stress, improve daily functioning, and help you breathe better while feeling calmer and lighter. Of value to people with neurological, musculoskeletal, postural, movement, breathing, or stress-related difficulties, the Feldenkrais Method is also helpful to singers, athletes, and anyone seeking to improve performance.

Moshe Feldenkrais believed there was no separation between mind and body, so learning to move better improves overall well-being at every level. Exploring slow, easy, and pleasurable movements that re-educate the nervous system, Kaelash Neels guides you through skillfully designed lessons structured to increase ease of movement and restore natural flexibility.

Recommended reading Moshe Feldenkrais, Awareness Through Movement and Stephen Shafarman, Awareness Heals.

Due to a back injury, I have been suffering from severe lower back pain for 23 years. I signed up for Kaelash’s Feldenkrais workshop, and at the end of it, my back felt better than it had in 23 years, despite all the other modalities I had tried prior to experiencing Feldenkrais with Kaelash. This gave me a lot of hope and encouraged me to keep practicing Feldenkrais. The gentle and mindful movements I learned from Kaelash continue to strengthen my back.
