An Introduction to Yin Yoga

For all levels.

Return to yoga’s ancient roots with Yin Yoga, using long-held postures to access the deeper, most accepting aspects of yourself. This program explores how Yin Yoga can affect your physical, energetic, and emotional body, and how you can incorporate Yin postures and philosophy into your practice and your life.

Discover Taoist philosophy as it applies to Yin Yoga, along with

  • The Yin practice of non-striving and how it can influence you on and off the mat
  • How this practice affects the movement of qi, or prana, in the body
  • A deeper understanding of your own natural anatomical patterns
  • How to sequence a Yin practice or class.

Note This program counts as 50 hours of Yin Yoga teacher training toward a 200-hour certificate through the Jamtse School of Yin Yoga. For more information visit biffmithoeferyoga.com.
