iRest Yoga Nidra Level 2 Teacher Training

For graduates of iRest Yoga Nidra Level 1.

Deepen your understanding of the principles underlying the theory, practice, and delivery of iRest Yoga Nidra meditation, as applied to groups and individuals in public and professional settings.

In this Level 2 training, you learn

  • How to become script independent in both group and one-on-one practices
  • About the teacher-student relationship, teaching issues, and ethical considerations
  • The historical context and path of meditation in which iRest is embedded
  • Eastern and Western psycho-spiritual views and the neuroscience that informs iRest and meditation
  • Evidence-based research showing the efficacy of iRest with different populations.

Join a global community of teachers offering iRest in yoga studios, sleep clinics, rehabilitation and healthcare facilities, hospitals, hospice, prisons, universities, schools, and private practice. Following Level II training, you can list yourself on the Integrative Restoration Institute (IRI) website as a Level II teacher-in-training, access iRest teacher resources and the Teachers Community Network for further support, and be recommended by IRI to people seeking iRest teachers in their local area.

Note Tuition includes a manual. In order to receive a certificate of attendance designating you as a Level II teacher-in-training, you must arrive on time every day and attend all training sessions. This training is open to participants who have previously attended an iRest Yoga Nidra Level 1 Teacher Training.
