Tai chi teaches us to float like clouds and flow like water, yet have the quiet, inner strength of a mountain. Come learn, in exquisite detail, a basic series of yang-style tai chi movements, suitable for beginners as well as more advanced students who wish to expand their skills.

Ken Cohen’s emphasis is on quality—each posture containing a world of information about relaxation, alignment, and inner strength. This program is enriched by discussion of the science behind tai chi and why it is called “medication in motion,” as well as how tai chi incorporates the Taoist philosophy of simplicity and harmony with nature. The ultimate goal is to have a tai chi mind and body, with a life of balance, peace, and energy.
