Kid Power Yoga A Weekend of Flow and Fun

For kids ages 6–12. Scholarship eligible.

If you are ready for some serious fun, join in this special weekend of mindfulness and silliness, all done through kid-tested and kid-approved methods for cultivating self-awareness, joy, and laughter. Develop inner strength, focus, and confidence as you try Glow-in-the Dark Yoga, Create Your Own Flow, and the Balloon Dance Party. Each component of the weekend cultivates a sense of happy ease and teaches yoga and mindfulness techniques that work.

This weekend includes yoga, meditation, and visualization practices designed specifically for kids, plus games, theater play, art, and visioning exercises in nature. There is a special evening for families featuring Good Night Yoga: A Pose by Pose Bedtime Story brought to life. Kids leave with a yoga practice they can do anywhere, anytime.

Note Children in this program must be accompanied at Kripalu by a parent or guardian who is registered for a program or an R&R Retreat. Kids meet for morning and afternoon sessions while parents are in their programs. (Parents are also welcome at any and all sessions and will be invited to a special program with their children on Saturday evening). Families are also together at mealtimes, in the evenings, and overnight.
