Kripalu Outdoors: Hiking and Vinyasa

For experienced hikers in good physical condition, comfortable with 6–8 mile treks at a sustained pace, with an established yoga practice.

Come discover the power of yoga, meditation, and the natural world in this hiking and vinyasa flow program. Draw closer to nature as you explore some of the Berkshires most beautiful trails, including summits of the protected Yokun Ridge trail system just outside our front door. Discover why the area’s natural beauty—combined with the proven health benefits of outdoor activity—have drawn visitors here for generations.

This program includes

  • Daily group hikes with our professional guides on the lovey local trails and conservation areas of the Berkshire Natural Resources Council
  • Energizing vinyasa flow classes, both indoors and out
  • Nature-based meditations rooted in ancient shamanic traditions
  • Teachings of yoga that can be brought off the mat and into daily life

Invigorate your body and clear your mind as you experience a deeper connection to the earth, and yourself, in one of Kripalu’s signature outdoor programs.

Note Participants should be prepared to cover several miles each day over hilly and sometimes difficult terrain. Appropriate footwear required. Trekking poles provided based on trail conditions.
