Leading Savasana How to Guide Deep Relaxation

For yoga teachers, counselors, health professionals, parents, and everyone interested in guiding others to relax and heal; you do not need to be a yoga teacher to take this training.

Learn how to lead Savasana—the favorite part of yoga class for many people—as a relaxing meditation that can help you, your students, or your clients deeply rest and transform. Jennifer Reis, the creator of Divine Sleep® Yoga Nidra and Five Element Yoga®, invites you to

  • Learn how to nourish yourself and others
  • Explore Savasana with props and variations
  • Gain skills with guided Savasana
  • Practice leading others with beautiful scripts
  • Cultivate voice quality and pace, and explore music.

Come discover how Savasana can balance the nervous system, as well as its other restorative benefits, and return home ready to lead Savasana meditations that are between five and 20 minutes long.

Note This training fulfills 10 Yoga Alliance CE (YACEP) credits.

This program may be also taken as part of Kripalu’s 1000-Hour Yoga Teacher Training.
The hours from this training may be applied toward your 1000-hour yoga teacher certification if you have not already applied the hours toward your 500-hour Ayurvedic Yoga Teacher certification.
