Making Power Choices and Creative Decisions How to Navigate in Times of Chaos and Possibility

For everyone.

Everyone wants to believe they have some measure of influence over the events that come their way in life. But while we can try to amass external resources that help us feel safe and protected from harm, nothing is as powerful, reliable, and truly effective in times of chaos or difficulty as trusting our own guidance, knowing how to make a clear decision and follow through with it, and being able to confront our fears and illusions.

Using lecture and dialogue, Caroline Myss applies the wisdom and teachings of four great Christian mystics: Ignatius Loyola, Teresa of Avila, John of the Cross, and Saint Benedict. Each of these wise teachers developed their own methods of spiritual direction for their students, precisely because they realized that everyone requires guidance through the challenging passages in life.

Each of us benefits, for example, from instructions on how to make clear decisions, learning how to thread together the input from mind, heart, and soul in order to find deep clarity. How do we attain that inner state? Knowledge of the soul has always required instruction. This life-enhancing weekend is part retreat and part instruction manual for making powerful choices in chaotic times.
