Meridian Yoga Therapy

Ancient practices like yoga and Chinese medicine offer maps of the body, mind, and soul—a different kind of anatomy that acknowledges the physical as well as the emotional. Meridian Yoga Therapy (MYT) is based on the eight limbs of yoga and informed by the traditional Chinese meridian system of points and pathways. This modern synthesis of age-old knowledge can be used to clear energy blockages in the body that may lead to emotional, physical, and spiritual pain.

In this program, Rose Erin Vaughan offers an introduction to this powerful healing method and teaches you

  • The basics of touch and how to sense different layers of the body
  • Meridian Activation exercises and a self-treatment sequence to deepen your yoga practice
  • How to apply these techniques to others as a powerful hands-on therapy.

Like yoga asana, MYT uses physical methods to ease the flow of energy through the subtle channels and release muscle tension—addressing joint pain, headaches, digestive issues, anxiety, depression, and more.

Note This program involves physical touch. Please be prepared to give and receive the techniques with other program participants. You will be able to choose your partner during the sessions.
