Mindful Hiking Retreat

For everyone; no experience necessary.

Spending time in nature is a powerful antidote to the stress of modern life. Join two Kripalu Mindful Outdoor Guides for an engaging week of exploration, community-building, and mindfulness in the lush, forested trails of the Berkshires.

Move your body, find your breath, and plug into nature as you discover the hills, valleys, streams, and meadows surrounding the Kripalu grounds. Experience practices that foster both movement and stillness, and enliven your senses connecting to the elements.

This program includes

  • Daily group hikes on the beautiful conservation areas of the Berkshire Natural Resources Council, which abut Kripalu’s property
  • An introduction to the Kripalu Mindful Outdoor Experience
  • Nature meditations, fire meditation, and tea ceremony
  • Naturalist skills such as tracking and tree and bird identification.

Note Participants should be prepared to hike each day over hilly terrain. Appropriate footwear required, and trekking poles are provided based on trail conditions.
