Nature and Mindfulness Animal Signs
- Presenter: Dale Abrams
- Presenter: Micah Mortali
Kripalu is proud to partner with Mass Audubon to offer a series of programs that explore the intersection of mindfulness practices with an appreciation and understanding of the natural world. This unique approach to outdoor skills through the lens of mindful, meditative observation opens the door to an entirely new way of viewing nature and its inhabitants, all in the pristine woods and waterways of the Berkshire hills.
This program, co-led by Mass Audubon and Kripalu faculty leads you on an adventure to discover the hidden life of winter mammals and birds, focusing your awareness on the subtle signs they leave in their wake. Enjoy the peaceful calm of snow-covered trails as you develop both observation and mindfulness skills in the great outdoors.
Note Come prepared for cold-weather hiking and gentle indoor movement classes. Adjustable, lightweight snowshoes and poles are provided.
