Working directly with Terry Roth Schaff and her team of yoga therapists and yoga teachers, learn specific poses, breathing techniques, and meditation exercises designed to treat specific spinal and hip conditions.

In this program, learn how to

  • Relieve pain from spinal stenosis
  • Reduce pressure from herniated disks
  • Traction the spine to combat degenerative disk disease
  • Lengthen your spine to reduce kyphosis and lordosis
  • Increase the range of motion in vertebral joints affected by osteoarthritis
  • Build bone density to prevent osteoporosis
  • Stabilize the sacroiliac joint
  • Bring both sides of the pelvis into alignment.

Build an understanding of the do’s and don’ts for each of these spinal and hip conditions and learn to keep your spine and hips in optimal health.

Terry Roth Schaff, C-IAYT, is a yoga therapist, and as director of medical yoga therapy at Manhattan Physical Medicine she developed therapeutic yoga sequences for people with physical challenges and those recovering from injuries.
