REST FOR CHANGE

How can we use rest as a tool for reflection, imagination, and empowerment?

Join author, executive rest coach, yoga teacher, and activist Octavia Raheem for a regenerative evening. Learn to slow down and pause via restorative yoga and deep relaxation so you can make space for soul care, creativity, and inner revelations. Through a grounding yoga practice and rest-filled story time, this online experience will also help you

  • Release the day and embrace the present moment with a sense of spaciousness, ease, and restoration
  • Relax while Octavia reads from Pause, Rest, Be: Stillness Practices for Courage in Times of Change 
  • Connect to a community of empowered people who trust that rest is part of our collective path toward sustainable change.

As a participant, you are encouraged to clear your calendar for at least 30 minutes before the program in order to pre-plan for sustenance.You’ll also want to make sure that your space is conducive for rest and reflection.

Recommended materials Pillow, blanket, bolster, journal, and pen or pencil

Note No prior experience is necessary. You will have access to the video recording(s) for 30 days after the program ends. All recordings will be available within 72 hours of the end of each session.
