Become fully embodied as you explore your own physiology and how it relates to the way you practice yoga. Your skeleton, musculature, connective tissue, lifestyle, and past injuries create a unique set of circumstances that make customizing your asana practice paramount. Learn how to tailor poses to individual bodies, create wise personalized sequences, prevent and heal injuries, and throw out poses that just aren’t meant for you.
This program also focuses on what the yogic texts say asana can teach us and the question: “Why doesn’t my body look anything like the picture of the pose?” By using biomechanics, functional range of motion, and custom tailoring, you can create an effective asana practice specially designed to meet your needs as a beautiful, one-of-a-kind individual.
