Presence, Power, and the Yoga of Voice

For everyone.

How would it feel to embody your most courageous, creative, and calm self in every area of your life? To show up fully for yourself, your loved ones, and the work you’re meant to do in the world? So many of us feel disconnected from the source of our power. Through childhood, culture, habit, or life circumstance, our relationship to our own authority has become diminished. Maybe we feel that we’ve lost our ability to know and truly express who we are, what we believe in, and what we stand for. We might feel invisible, unseen, or unheard.

The voice—and our relationship to it—are intrinsically connected to our sense of self. And if your voice has been diminished along the way, you can learn to reclaim it and take back your own power. Join Jurian Hughes for a richly rewarding and experiential program that explores

  • Opening and strengthening the solar plexus and throat—energy centers of the body related to personal power and communication
  • Simple techniques to identify common physical sources of vocal tension and how to release them
  • The pairing of yoga postures with sound and movement to amplify the palpable and healing sensations of voice
  • Chanting and singing as a group to enjoy connecting to your own sound as part of a community
  • Tapping into and clarifying essential messages from your inner teacher.

Embrace your voice as a beautiful reflection of who you are, and return home with tools to share it with greater confidence and ease. When you feel truly seen and heard, you become the director of your own life.
