Jus Crea Giammarino, ND

Jus Crea, ND, ​raised with her Penobscot culture and Native American spiritual practices, realized the healing powers of nature at a young age. Rich with ancestral knowledge of healing, medicine, and midwifery, Jus Crea received a Bachelor of Science in Ethnobotany and Holistic Health from the University of Massachusetts Amherst, and a Doctorate in Naturopathic Medicine from the University of Bridgeport, Connecticut. She completed an advanced externship in pediatrics and women’s health and worked as a primary care doctor with Mary Bove in Vermont. She has been trained as an auricular acupuncture detox specialist at Lincoln Hospital, WTS therapy for restorative healing as well as Indigenous midwifery with Mewinzha Ondaadiziike Wiigaming. Jus Crea has lectured extensively on healing, ethnobotany, midwifery, naturopathic medicine, environmental medicine, and her cultural history and traditions. She was previously an adjunct professor of Nutrition at Springfield College and Pathology at STCC. Jus Crea has been practicing Naturopathic Family Medicine at The Integrative Health Group in Springfield, Massachusetts since 2005. She is passionate about her cultural healing practices and works towards reclamation of her Wabanaki traditions, spiritual practices, and language. She is a founding board member of Bomazeen Land Trust and trains Wabanaki herbal apprentices.
