Ona Hawk

Ona Hawk is a certified yoga teacher who blends her passion for empowering people with knowledge of self with her curiosity about traditional and holistic ways of healing to help guide others toward wellness. In 2013 Ona began her practice of Kemetic Yoga, an ancient African system for rejuvenation and enlightenment that not only connected her to yoga, but provided a way to reconnect with her African ancestors and healing sciences. That same year she earned her certification to teach and opened the doors to a yoga studio to help spread the tools for self-healing within her community. She strives to keep the integrity and the history of this art relevant in a practitioners daily practice while encouraging each to honor their unique body, mind, and expression. Ona recently enhanced her experience with trainings in hatha yoga in 2017, Yin Yoga in 2018, and yoga for addiction recovery in 2019. The fulfillment of health, peace of mind, and community that yoga has brought to her life is what continues to inspire Ona to share and inspire others to learn yoga and love their journey. She has created a mini library of videos for distance learning, teaches weekly classes at Sacred Chill West in Atlanta, and travels globally to share workshops at healing and yoga events, conferences, and retreats.
