Reflection and the Power of Pause

Join psychotherapist and best-selling author Donald Altman as he guides you through a new kind of mindfulness designed to support you in our continuously distracted world. WHAT YOU’LL EXPERIENCE
  • Meditation
  • Personal reflections
  • Spiritual practices and loving-kindness

In this program, based in part on Donald’s book Reflect: Awaken to the Wisdom of the Here and Now, you discover how nature can restore depleted energy, focus, and concentration, and dive into the cutting-edge science behind how behavior and awareness affect us at the cellular level. You’ll learn how to utilize reflection as a tool to promote nonjudgmental observation, self-acceptance, love, and compassion during difficult life circumstances.

Return home with effective practices to use throughout your day for developing spaciousness, cultivating joy, and overcoming anxiety.

Note Please bring comfortable clothing. You will be walking, lying down, and moving about in gentle ways.

“I thoroughly enjoyed the mindfulness training and have already put what I have learned into practice, in my life and my sessions with clients as well.” —Caroline M.Ed., LCPC
