The Resilient Child Breath~Body~Mind for Emotional Regulation, Learning, and Well-Being

For educators without yoga training, health-care professionals, and yoga teachers.

Are you looking to make a difference in the lives of children? Take home a toolkit of proven practices to create a compassionate environment and relieve behavioral, social, and emotional disorders for children, including at-risk youth. Interweaving experiential and didactic sessions, this program is for everyone seeking to improve well-being for youth in K–12, military families, families with hospitalized children, and disaster survivors.

In this program, you learn to

  • Summarize scientific evidence that supports the use of specific breath practices in alleviating symptoms of stress, anxiety, depression, and PTSD
  • Discuss the effects of breath practices on emotion regulation
  • Utilize breathing and movement techniques to reduce your own stress
  • Identify breathing and movement techniques that are beneficial for children in classroom and after-school settings.
